Eckalite I (Kaolin)

This is the premium grade of Eckalite. Also known as " China Clay " in some ceramic recipes. A primary clay which fires white in colour and is highly refractory. Eckalite 1 & 2 are regular sources of alumina and silica in glazes and also a component in many clay bodies where whiteness is desirable.
